According to information provided by the president's office, Bektur Aliyev has been relieved of his duties as Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic based on his personal statement. This decision is in accordance with the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic and the law "On the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic".
As the new Deputy Chairman of the NB KR, President Sadyr Japarov appointed Medet Tairov.

He began his career at the Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank and then continued to work at OJSC "Aiyl Bank" since 2016. He was also a member of the board of JSC "Bank of Asia" and since February 2023 has held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of OJSC "Eldik Bank". In addition, he worked as a consultant at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), which is part of the World Bank Group.
