As of the end of December 2025, the gross international reserves of Kyrgyzstan reached $8 billion 603.14 million, according to data from the National Bank.

The National Bank uses gold and foreign exchange reserves to stabilize the exchange rate of the som by conducting currency interventions, as stated in the regulator's reports.
