According to information provided by the Eurasian Development Bank, from January to November 2025, the volume of remittances to the Kyrgyz Republic increased by 17.2%.
The main factor behind this growth was the inflow from Russia, which rose by 16.7%.

The increase in inflow in dollar terms was also due to the strengthening of the ruble against the dollar by 10.6% compared to the average figures of 2024. At the same time, the average exchange rate of the som to the dollar in 2024-2025 remained at around 87. The growth of remittances has a positive effect on domestic demand, as evidenced by the increase in the volume of domestic trade by 9.5% in January - November of last year, as reported in the report.
