The average GDP growth of Kyrgyzstan in 2026-2028 will be about 6%, - forecast

According to the report from the foundation published in December 2025, analysts presented their forecasts regarding the state of the country's economy.

Data for the third quarter of 2025 align with initial expectations, allowing the GDP growth forecast for the current year to remain at 9%.

The authors of the report emphasize that sustainable growth is expected in the construction sector in the future, driven by both increased investment activity in various industries and the development of housing construction within the framework of the updated state program.

However, as domestic and transit demand decreases, the contribution of trade to the economy will gradually diminish. Thus, the EFSR predicts that the average GDP growth of Kyrgyzstan from 2026 to 2028 will be around 6%.
