The World Bank predicts a 6.5 percent economic growth for Kyrgyzstan in 2026.

The World Bank expects that the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic will continue to grow in 2026, driven by domestic demand, investments, and government budget expenditures. This was reported by the bank's senior economist Bakyt Dubashov.

According to Dubashov, the main factor contributing to economic growth will be domestic stimulation. In particular, an increase in private consumption, a rise in investment volumes, and an expansion of government spending are forecasted.

“We base our forecasts on the confidence that economic activity will be supported by domestic mechanisms. In the real sector, the main drivers of growth will be industry, construction, and services,” emphasized Bakyt Dubashov.

According to estimates by the World Bank, the growth rate of Kyrgyzstan's economy in 2026 could reach 6.5%, indicating positive dynamics in the country's development.
