The World Bank has forecasted the growth of Kyrgyzstan's economy in 2026

According to Bakyt Dushabov, a senior economist at the World Bank in Kyrgyzstan, it is expected that the country's economic growth will be around 6.5% in 2026. He announced this at a recent press conference.

According to Dushabov, this forecast is based on expectations of increased domestic demand, which, in turn, will contribute to the growth of private consumption, investments, and government spending.

Furthermore, he added that the real sector of the economy will be supported by growth in areas such as industry, construction, and services.

It is worth noting that in the updated forecast for 2025, the World Bank predicted an economic growth rate of 6.8% for Kyrgyzstan.
