An online platform for breeding farms has been launched in Kyrgyzstan

As part of an initiative implemented by the Veterinary Service for the Development of Animal Husbandry, Pastures, and Feed under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, the "Unified System for Accounting and Registration of Breeding Farms and Artificial Insemination Points" has been launched. This project aims to simplify the process for farmers, allowing them to avoid bureaucratic red tape and create a more transparent market for high-yield livestock.

Now, farmers can submit applications for confirmation or assignment of breeding status online from the comfort of their homes, as well as receive electronic certificates. The new platform has fully automated the evaluation process for farms, minimizing the influence of human factors and subjectivity. A key element is the unified electronic register, which displays information about all certified farms and insemination points in real-time.

This system provides livestock breeders from different regions of the country with the opportunity to quickly find quality breeding semen and receive services from specialists, which in turn contributes to the improvement of the gene pool and increases livestock productivity in the republic. Furthermore, for the state, this system serves as an important tool for strategic analysis, allowing the implementation of modern breeding technologies and enhancing the overall efficiency of the industry. The developers are confident that creating such a digital environment will make Kyrgyz livestock breeding more competitive at the regional level, providing farmers with access to reliable information and modern animal breeding methods.
