South Korea will transfer 100 ambulances to the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan


The South Korean firm DK Consultants has agreed to supply 100 ambulances to Uzbekistan. This became possible thanks to the visit of a delegation led by Deputy Minister of Health F. Toshpulotov.

During the negotiations, the prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation in the field of healthcare and the implementation of joint projects were discussed.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, a memorandum was signed, the value of which amounted to 7 million US dollars. Funding will come from the company's grant resources, which will improve the operation of the emergency service 103 in the country.

The procurement of modern vehicles is planned to take place in the first half of 2026.

Additionally, the meeting discussed proposals for transferring Clinical Hospital No. 7 of Tashkent to management based on public-private partnership, as well as plans for the construction of a new treatment facility at the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology.

The South Korean side expressed satisfaction with its active participation in the modernization of Uzbekistan's medical system and confirmed its readiness for further cooperation on mutually beneficial terms.
