The total volume of foreign direct investment (FDI) from China to the countries in the region rose from $19.6 billion in 2016 to $35.9 billion by 2025.
One of the significant projects being implemented in Kyrgyzstan is the coal logistics center Xinjiang Dacheng Yuanlong Technology, which has made it to the list of the 11 largest investments in the region.
The project, which costs $430 million, involves the construction of a coal logistics center with a conveyor belt measuring 157 kilometers. The investor undertakes the obligations to finance the construction and further operation of the facility, using their own and/or attracted funds.
