The organization of the fair was carried out by the district agricultural development management in cooperation with the Ayil Okmotu of Chon-Alai, Kashka-Suu, and Jekendi. Local residents were able to purchase a wide range of products, including meat, vegetables, fruits, flour, vegetable oil, and sugar at affordable prices.
Farmers and producers actively participated in the event, allowing them to sell their products directly, without intermediaries. This contributed to the formation of direct links between producers and consumers, as well as helped reduce food prices for the population.
The main goal of the fair was to provide citizens with quality and safe products, as well as to promote the stabilization of prices for essential food items and support the domestic market.
It should be emphasized that food security in the republic is fully ensured. Stocks of socially significant food products are at an adequate level, and there is no shortage of products. The Ministry and other government agencies conduct constant market monitoring and take measures to ensure the population has the necessary products.
In the future, it is planned to continue holding similar food fairs on a regular basis in various regions of the country to support the local population.
