Growth in gross domestic product will be supported by fiscal policy, which assumes that expenditures will exceed revenues by 1.6% of GDP. The EDB forecasts that household incomes will continue to rise, which, in turn, will contribute to an increase in consumer demand. However, the economic activity will be negatively affected by the increase in the tax burden, which, according to the bank, may slow down economic growth, keeping it below its potential level.
