An 18-meter Ferris wheel collapsed at a fair in India, injuring more than 30 people

The amusement ride collapsed late in the evening at a local fair. According to preliminary reports, around 70-80 people were on the wheel at the time of the incident, including children. As a result of the accident, 30 people were injured, more than 10 of whom are in critical condition and have been taken to hospitals.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine whether safety measures were followed. Initial findings suggest that the cause of the collapse may have been overloading of the ride and possible damage to its structure.

It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred in February in the city of Faridabad: a swing ride collapsed at the "Surajkund" fair, resulting in one death and 13 injuries.
