Lukashenko and Kim Jong Un hold a meeting in Pyongyang

The official ceremony of the meeting between Lukashenko and Kim Jong Un took place in Pyongyang, as reported by the agency. The ceremony was held in a square named after Kim Il Sung and included the performance of the national anthems of both countries, cannon salutes, as well as greetings from members of the delegations. The event featured cavalry and a company of the honor guard.

Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived in North Korea for an official visit on March 25. Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov stated that during the visit, it is planned to sign an agreement on friendship and cooperation, as well as about ten other documents.

It is worth noting that Lukashenko and Kim Jong Un previously met in September 2025 during a parade in Beijing, where the North Korean leader invited the Belarusian president to visit his country at any time.
