The leaders discussed key aspects of bilateral relations. Tokayev noted that Putin's upcoming state visit to Kazakhstan at the end of May is of great importance for strengthening the strategic partnership and allied ties between the two countries.
In response, Putin agreed with this position and emphasized the positive dynamic nature of bilateral cooperation in strategically significant areas.
It is worth noting that Putin's last visit to Kazakhstan took place in November 2023.
