
Mongolia continues to actively develop relations with France in the areas of urban planning, infrastructure initiatives, and sustainable urban development.
In this context, Ulaanbaatar Mayor Nymbaatar Khishgee met with a delegation led by Corinne Pereira Da Silva, the French Ambassador to Mongolia. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, Nymbaatar noted: “France serves as our third neighbor and a key partner in Europe. We aim to elevate our relations and interactions with Paris and other cities to a new level. In particular, meetings were held in Paris and Lyon this January as part of the Ulaanbaatar metro and cable car projects. I am confident that our cooperation will continue to grow and develop within the framework of strategic partnership.”
Ambassador Corinne Pereira confirmed France's readiness to actively support the further development of bilateral relations.
It is worth noting that this year marks the 61st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and France.
