Shekarchi also emphasized: "If America commits aggression against Khark Island and its oil facilities, we firmly declare that all oil and gas facilities of the aggressor country will be subjected to attack, and our forces will turn them to ashes. We have already demonstrated that we carry out our threats, and in this matter, we have no limitations. No country should be used as a springboard for American aggression against Khark," he added.
The neighbors of Khark Island are Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. If the U.S. decides to land troops on the island, it will most likely be done from one of these countries.
Earlier, Donald Trump mentioned that the U.S. could attack the export hub on Khark Island "within five minutes."
Recently, he also reported a massive strike that was allegedly carried out on the Iranian island of Khark in the Persian Gulf. However, Iranian media claimed that the oil infrastructure remained intact, and the air defense systems on the island continue to function.
