A high-ranking source claims that the proposal to transport Mojtaba Khamenei to the Russian capital came from President Vladimir Putin during a recent phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
Upon arrival in Moscow, Khamenei successfully underwent surgery and is currently undergoing treatment in one of Putin's residences.
Additionally, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the fact of the new Supreme Leader's injury, adding that his health condition is not a cause for concern.
