Two oil tankers attacked in Iraq, one person killed

As a result of the attack, allegedly organized by Iran, the operations of Iraqi oil terminals were temporarily suspended. According to CNN and Reuters, the incident occurred due to an attack by explosive-laden boats.

On the morning of March 12, against the backdrop of these attacks, oil prices on the exchange rose again to 100 dollars per barrel, despite the International Energy Agency's decision to release 400 million barrels from strategic reserves.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that "it will not be possible to artificially suppress the rise in oil prices," adding that one should be prepared for prices of "200 dollars per barrel," reports BBC News.
