According to information provided by government representative Fateme Mohajerani and disseminated by Iranian media, the strikes have led to a deterioration in air quality in Tehran. After the attacks on oil bases and refineries, thick black clouds of smoke formed in the sky over the capital, raising concerns about toxic emissions.

Since the beginning of the conflict between the USA, Israel, and Iran, which started in late February, tensions have been escalating in the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial route for global maritime oil supplies.

The escalation of the situation has resulted in a significant rise in oil prices, with Brent exceeding $119 per barrel on Monday. However, on March 10, prices fell to around $91-92 following comments from Donald Trump about a possible de-escalation of the conflict.

In the past, Trump has also made sharp threats against Iran in light of the situation surrounding the Strait of Hormuz and potential attacks on shipping.
