In the capital of Mexico, on San Antonio Abad Avenue, an incident occurred during the demolition of a three-story building. This was reported by the agency Report, citing information from the newspaper El Universal.
According to El Universal, as a result of the collapse, one worker died, another was injured and hospitalized. At the same time, two people remain trapped under the rubble.
Rescue workers and civil protection staff are working at the scene. A canine unit has also been involved in the operation to search for people.
The area around the building has been cordoned off, and for safety reasons, 57 people have been evacuated from nearby buildings and commercial establishments.
