In this month, the branch of the Bank of Mongolia in the Darkhan-Uul province purchased 89.0 kilograms of gold, while the branch in the Bayankhongor province acquired 477.3 kilograms. Compared to the same period last year, this increase was 19.7 percent.
The purchase prices for precious metals are determined by the Bank of Mongolia in accordance with global market quotations.
The average purchase price of gold in February 2026 was ₮576,654.17 per gram.
