The evacuation process is being carried out with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Transport, and diplomatic missions operating around the clock.
March 7 was one of the busiest days of the operation. On that day, 9 flights were made from Saudi Arabia, bringing back 1,680 people. Additionally, two flights from the United Arab Emirates returned 394 citizens, and 5 compatriots returned from Iran.
Particular attention is being paid to the evacuation from Doha. The embassies of Uzbekistan in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, together with the Ministry of Transport, successfully evacuated the first group of 208 people, who flew from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on board Centrum Air and landed in Tashkent on March 8 at 05:40.
Currently, the diplomatic mission in Qatar is preparing a second group of 126 people. For their transportation, the embassy has rented three buses, which are traveling under the escort of diplomats to Riyadh. The evacuation of this group is scheduled for today, March 8, on a charter flight to Tashkent. The authorities emphasize the importance of systematic and phased work aimed at protecting and returning all citizens until their safety is fully ensured.
