In a post published on March 6 on the social network Truth Social, U.S. President Donald Trump emphasized that any negotiations with Iran can only take place on the condition of its "unconditional surrender."

Trump stated: "There will be no deal with Iran except for unconditional surrender! After that, when we choose a worthy and acceptable leader, we, along with our allies, will do everything possible to restore the Iranian economy so that it becomes stronger than ever."

In his opinion, Iran has a "great future" ahead.

He added: "Let's make Iran great again, MIGA!" — a reference to his famous political slogan.

In a subsequent message, Trump noted significant movements of people in the Middle East.

The president emphasized: "We are moving thousands of people from various countries in the region. This is happening quietly but very effectively. The State Department, under the leadership of Marco Rubio, is doing an excellent job," he noted.

Additionally, in an interview with NBC News, Trump expressed the opinion that a complete change of Iranian leadership is necessary. He mentioned that Washington has several options for suitable candidates for the role of the new "good leader," but did not name any names.

Earlier, Trump also expressed his intention to personally participate in the selection of the next Iranian leader. He suggested that the most likely successor could be Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, but added that he does not consider this an acceptable option.
