The USA has partially eased sanctions on the import of Venezuelan gold

The U.S. Department of the Treasury has published a general license allowing U.S. companies to import, store, process, resell, and transport gold from Venezuela. This also includes transactions with the country's government agencies and the company Minerven.

All operations must comply with U.S. law, and any disputes that arise will be exclusively handled within U.S. jurisdiction. Payments to sanctioned individuals must be made through specially opened accounts to monitor financial flows.

Despite this, significant restrictions remain: the license does not apply to individuals and legal entities, as well as to structures controlled by them, from Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, and Cuba. All participants in transactions are required to regularly report to U.S. authorities on each stage of the circulation of Venezuelan gold.
