Gankhuyaq Hassuur emphasized the need for immediate action from local authorities in response to changing conditions. He highlighted the importance of ensuring constant and timely access to medical and other state services for herders and residents. In his speech, he also called for the activation of local initiatives to reduce risks associated with harsh winter and spring conditions, as well as to mitigate potential consequences. With the onset of spring, the Deputy Prime Minister added that it is necessary to promptly dispose of the carcasses of animals to avoid outbreaks of highly contagious diseases among livestock.
In accordance with the government's decision and the State Emergency Commission, resources have been allocated from the state reserve, including equipment, materials, and animal feed. These resources will be directed to medical centers in the regions and districts, as well as to the administrations of governors and local emergency management structures. As part of this support, 20 mobile vehicles, two motor graders, and five loaders will be provided to those regions and districts where heavy snowfall has complicated road and mountain pass access. Additionally, 796 tons of hay, 8,154 tons of feed, and 50 tons of fuel have been allocated from the state reserve, which will be distributed across each region. These measures are expected to help restore transportation routes and support herders in the challenging logistical situation.
