At the beginning of the meeting, Pürevdorj Böchuluun emphasized the importance of deepening bilateral relations and the desire for a strategic partnership between Mongolia and France. He noted that the recently formed Mongolian parliament, consisting of 126 members, approved two laws and a draft agreement concerning cooperation with France last year, which demonstrates the country's commitment to strengthening ties.
Amela Ober presented a wide range of knowledge and experience from the FDA in key areas such as healthcare, energy, education, ecotourism, and rural development. She highlighted that the agency is actively implementing programs aimed at supporting the lives of people in remote areas.
The Ambassador of France to Mongolia, Corinne Pereira Da Silva, expressed gratitude to the Deputy Speaker for his efforts in strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries and expressed hope for continued support to expand the partnership, especially in the context of the upcoming 61st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the importance of political and legal frameworks for the successful implementation of joint programs and projects. Representatives from the French embassy were also present at the meeting.
