The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Battsereg Batmunkh, is on an official visit to Sweden, invited by her Swedish counterpart Maria Malmör Stenergard.
During her visit, she held a meeting with representatives of the Mongolian diaspora living in Sweden.
In the Kingdom of Sweden, there are over 12,000 citizens of Mongolia, and more than 20 non-governmental organizations are actively working to preserve and promote the Mongolian language, culture, traditions, national sports, and arts.
Battsereg Batmunkh expressed gratitude to the Mongolians who make significant contributions to the development of national arts and culture in Sweden and other European countries, and also presented her compatriots with the highest state awards and medals conferred by the decree of the President of Mongolia.
