In response to this incident, the Turkish newspaper Sözcü also reported on the attack. As reported by Business Recorder and India Today, citing Reuters data, after the drone strike, Saudi Aramco decided to suspend operations at its plant in Ras Tanura. An industry source noted that the situation is under control, and similar information was confirmed by Bloomberg. Saudi Aramco is the national oil company of Saudi Arabia and the largest oil producer in the world. It accounts for up to 80% of the state budget's revenues, and its headquarters is located in Dhahran. According to Forbes Global 2000 for 2021, Saudi Aramco ranked fifth among the largest companies in the world.

On March 2, Iran also attacked the NATO base "Victoria" located in Iraq. In total, Iranian forces struck 27 American bases in the Middle East, as well as the command building of the Israel Defense Forces and a defense complex in Tel Aviv.

On February 28, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the start of a large-scale military operation against Iran in conjunction with Israel, triggered by failed negotiations over the Iranian nuclear program. During the Israeli attack, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, was eliminated, to which Iran responded with missile and drone attacks on American military facilities in the region.
