Approximately 281 citizens of Mongolia live in the Middle East, 40 of whom are in Israel

According to information provided by MiddleAsianNews, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia plans to organize the repatriation of its citizens from Israel in case of relevant applications being submitted.

Due to the ongoing tension in the region, the ministry also strongly advises citizens to avoid traveling to Israel, Iran, and other Middle Eastern countries.

Currently, approximately 40 Mongolian citizens are in Israel, most of whom have family ties with local residents or hold Israeli citizenship. In Iran, according to available data, there are no citizens of Mongolia.

In response to the current situation, the Embassy of Mongolia in Ankara has created a special chat for communication with citizens in Israel to share important information and recommendations.

Mongolian citizens who express a desire will be able to be repatriated through the Egyptian border, using the Taba port, as has been done in previous instances.
