As a result of the incident, 26 people were injured, of whom seven, unfortunately, died. Thirteen of the injured were hospitalized, while six continue to receive outpatient treatment.
According to the latest information from the Emergency Situations Department, five of the injured were sent to Kokshetau for treatment at a multidisciplinary regional hospital, and two more are being prepared for transportation.
An operational headquarters for the region is working at the scene, which is investigating the causes of the incident. The Akmolinsk region akimat stated its readiness to provide all necessary support to the families of the deceased and the injured.
