The Chosun Daily: Kim Jong Un appointed his 13-year-old daughter as head of North Korea's nuclear forces

According to sources, Kim Ju Ae, the daughter of Kim Jong Un, is effectively performing the functions of "general director of the missile unit." Although this position is officially held by Chang Chang Ha, it is the leader's daughter who receives information from military commanders and has the authority to issue orders. Intelligence data also indicates that she expressed her opinions on several political issues during the 9th Congress of the Workers' Party, which took place in Pyongyang.

On February 12, South Korea's intelligence service presented a report to a parliamentary committee mentioning the "stage of appointment as a successor." The fact that Kim Jong Un has a daughter became known only in November 2022, when she accompanied her father during the launch of the intercontinental ballistic missile "Hwasong-17," as reported by The Chosun Daily. However, her name was not disclosed.

The name of Kim Jong Un's daughter was first mentioned by former NBA player Dennis Rodman during his visit to North Korea in 2013. He stated that the girl's name is Kim Ju Ae, although intelligence data suggests that her name may be Kim Ju Hae.
