Bloomberg: China Supplies Drones to Russia via Thailand
With the onset of the full-scale war, there has been a sharp increase in drone supplies from Thailand to Russia. According to customs data, Skyhub Technologies ranks second in the volume of these supplies.
Additionally, another company, China Thai Corp, purchased drones worth $144 million during the first 11 months of 2025. In the same year, it was sanctioned by the UK for supplying military technologies to Russia.
From January to November 2025, Russia imported drones from Thailand worth $125 million, accounting for 88% of all drone exports from that country. At the same time, Chinese supplies to Thailand amounted to $186 million.
For comparison, in 2022, the volume of drone imports to Thailand did not exceed $1 million, and none of the supplies were directed to Russia.
The head of Thailand's customs department, Phantong Loikulnanta, stated that the export of Chinese drones is conducted within the framework of existing legislation. The country's Ministry of Commerce is currently analyzing the situation and considering the possibility of tightening export controls.
