During the meeting, the delegations discussed strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership, foreign policy positions, as well as current international and regional issues. A wide range of topics related to multilateral cooperation was also considered, including major joint projects and programs being implemented between the two countries. Their achievements, trade and economic interaction, and issues related to border land ports were discussed.
In addition, the participants exchanged views on upcoming high-level visits and events, and confirmed their intention to continue close cooperation.
The co-chairs of the strategic dialogue were Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Amartuvshin Gombosuren and his counterpart from the People's Republic of China Sun Weidong.
