Kazakhstan's special forces won gold and silver at the UAE SWAT Challenge 2026

The President of the country, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, highly praised the professionalism and preparedness of the fighters


At the international competition UAE SWAT Challenge 2026, held in Dubai, Kazakhstan's special forces won gold and silver medals. This was reported by The Astana Times.

The absolute champion of the tournament was the team Kazakhstan C, while Kazakhstan A took second place in the overall standings. A total of 109 teams from 48 countries participated in the competition, highlighting the high level of rivalry among the participants.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the Kazakhstani special forces on their outstanding achievements. According to his press secretary Aibek Smadiyarov, the president noted the "high level of professional training, physical fitness, and combat skills of the Border Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the National Security Committee, as well as their determination to win and patriotic spirit."

Other teams also showed good results: Kazakhstan B finished in eighth place, while Kazakhstan D came in twentieth. The women's team Tomiris took eighteenth place overall, demonstrating the best result among women's units and surpassing several male teams from other countries.

Tokayev noted that the state intends to officially reward the servicemen, adding that their success has become a source of pride for the entire country and a confirmation of the high level of training of Kazakhstan's special forces on the world stage, reports The Astana Times.
