According to information published by the Daily Mail, the shooter who attacked a school in Canada turned out to be transgender. This information was provided by the parents of students and the Canadian police, who confirmed the identity of the attacker.
The name of 18-year-old Jesse Van Rutselaar, who opened fire in the library of Tamber Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia, was linked to his mother's name — Jesse Strang. Van Rutselaar began identifying as a woman at the age of 12 and used the pronouns "she/her." The police reported numerous calls to his home related to mental health issues.

As a result of the tragic incident, eight people died, including five students and a teacher. According to CTV News, before the attack, the shooter killed his mother and brother, and then took his own life.

When information about the shooting was received, the perpetrator was described as a woman in a dress with chestnut hair, but his identity was not known at that time.
