According to Khodjazoda, 12,218 directives have been issued to rectify the identified violations, and administrative cases have been initiated in 11,677 instances. As a result of the inspections, fines totaling over 7 million somoni have been imposed on violators, of which 5.9 million have already been deposited into a special account.

He also noted that 1,035 materials have been sent to the prosecutor's office for assessment, and 927 to enforcement services, highlighting the seriousness of the situation. This information was presented at a press conference held on February 10 in Dushanbe.

Khodjazoda added that violations are committed not only by private individuals but also by employees of the Committee for Land Management itself.

In particular, the heads of land management offices in Isfara, Kulob, and the Abdurakhmoni Jomi district have been detained.

An investigation is underway regarding Muhammad Bobozoda, the head of the land management office in Isfara, on suspicion of receiving a bribe. Final conclusions about his culpability will be made only by a court decision.

Earlier in 2024, the Anti-Corruption Agency of Tajikistan initiated a criminal case against the head of the land management office in Kulob. According to the investigation materials, he promised to allocate a plot of agricultural land in exchange for 81,000 somoni but failed to fulfill his obligations.

The sale of land plots remains a significant problem in the country, as repeatedly mentioned by the President of Tajikistan.

Khodjazoda emphasized that even employees of the land management office are not protected from violations, indicating the need for strengthened efforts to combat corruption in this area.
