It is reported that on the evening of February 8, a convoy consisting of six trucks with Tajik aid, including food, warm clothing, tents, and waterproof film, crossed the Rafah checkpoint on the border of Egypt and Palestine. The event was attended by the Tajik ambassador to Egypt and representatives of Tajik charitable organizations, as stated in the report from the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Tajikistan has been actively providing humanitarian and financial assistance to the residents of Gaza since the first days of the conflict in the region, according to the official information from the agency.

At a press conference on February 6, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin announced the humanitarian aid sent to Gaza.

He also reminded that in January 2025, Tajikistan, together with other states, had already sent 200 tons of wheat flour for the residents of Gaza.

The minister emphasized that Tajikistan's position regarding the situation in Gaza remains unchanged, and the country continues to support efforts for a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
