Athlete Tseveendash will run the route Ulaanbaatar–Beijing–Tianjin

On February 5, the famous climber and honored athlete Tseveendash Bazarhand began his run covering a distance of 1600 kilometers along the route Ulaanbaatar–Beijing–Tianjin. This was reported by IKON.

Before the run, Tseveendash noted that there are serious problems among youth and children, such as depression and addiction to digital devices. He emphasized that instead of just talking about a healthy lifestyle, he wants to set an example through his actions. “People have become less active, even not reaching the nearest bus stop. There is no need to be afraid of winter runs. The endurance of people engaged in physical culture and sports is remarkable. Youth lack physical activity, and excessive use of technology leads to mental problems. This is not only our problem but a global crisis. People are too afraid of the cold; however, we must show that it is possible to run even in winter,” he shared.

Tseveendash added: “Today I am starting a new stage, and my task is to launch the run. In the context of growing negative social sentiments, I hope to bring positivity through winter runs. I have prepared thoroughly and created a detailed plan, especially considering that part of the route will pass through China. Initially, I planned to camp in a tent, but now I will be accompanied by a vehicle. There will be two people on the team, ensuring complete safety during the run.”

Starting in Ulaanbaatar, the run will pass through Zamiin-Uud in Mongolia, Ereenhot, Hohhot, Zhangjiakou, and the Great Wall of China. Tseveendash plans to run 42 kilometers a day and complete his journey of 1600 kilometers within 40 to 45 days.
