US President Donald Trump expressed expectations that the country's national debt, which has reached record levels, will significantly decrease due to economic growth. "Although we have debt, we are also seeing (economic - ed.) growth that will soon make this debt insignificant," Trump noted in an interview with NBC.
According to information provided by the US Department of the Treasury, the national debt of the United States exceeded the mark of 38 trillion dollars for the first time last year.
