
The festival not only showcases the picturesque winter landscapes of Mongolia but also introduces guests to the traditions, cultural heritage, national games, and customs of the country. Additionally, there is a focus on winter extreme sports and adventure tourism.
This festival, which is being held for the fourteenth time, includes a variety of events and competitions:

Ulaanbaatar Championship in "Ice Shooting with Bones" (or "Мөсний шагай")
Snowboarding Championship in Ulaanbaatar
Ulaanbaatar Paragliding Championship
Winter Rugby Championship in Ulaanbaatar
Skiing Championship in Ulaanbaatar
Curling Championship in Ulaanbaatar
Amateur Ice Climbing Competitions
Family Relay and Tug of War Competitions
"Big Tour" (Winter Cup) Competitions for students of tourism universities











The festival program also includes performances by masters of national art, educational events about the Bankhar dog breed, skiing and sledding, as well as demonstrations of falconry and parachuting sports.

According to MiddleAsianNews, more than 1,000 athletes from Ulaanbaatar and all 21 provinces of Mongolia are participating in the competitions, along with over 50 participants from other countries, including the Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, as well as Russian regions such as Buryatia, Kalmykia, and Tuva, Kazakhstan, and the USA.
The festival is organized in cooperation with the office of the governor of Ulaanbaatar, the capital's tourism department, and the Sky Resort, and takes place this weekend at the Sky Resort ski center.
