At a reception dedicated to the Chinese New Year, organized by the Chinese embassy, Shen Minjuyan, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Mongolia, expressed hope for further successful cooperation between the two countries in the new Year of the Horse.
The ambassador's ambitions concern not only the future but also the results achieved in the past year, which, despite the complex international conditions, turned out to be quite successful for Chinese-Mongolian relations.

The completion of the railway construction connecting the border of China and Mongolia, which resumed after a 70-year pause, is expected soon.
The reconstruction of the residential complex "Nogoong Noor 1008" has been completed, and it has been put into operation. Families are expected to move into the new apartments soon.
The volume of trade between the two countries has significantly increased.
In addition, Shen Minjuyan noted that China and Mongolia are aimed at the rapid and effective implementation of a number of major projects that were previously discussed, including strategic coordination and infrastructure development.
She also emphasized that both countries have significant potential for further cooperation in various areas: mutual understanding between peoples, youth exchanges, investments, economy, culture, and tourism.
The ambassador expressed confidence that cooperation within the framework of the strategic agreement between the states will continue to bring success.
China is focused on cooperation with many countries, and the ambassador noted that the Year of the Horse symbolizes a new stage. She expressed confidence that the friendly relations between the two countries will be successful in this new period.
The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of Mongolia, Damdinyam Gongor, expressed confidence that in the Year of the Horse, the goal of increasing trade turnover to over 20 billion US dollars will be achieved. He also added that negotiations to increase the capacity of the Gantsmod-Gashuunsukhait railway and in the mining sector will be completed this year.
