At this event, Mongolia was represented by high-ranking members of the National Olympic Committee: NOC President Battushig Batbold, First Vice President Naranbaatar Choigavaa, and Head of the External Relations Department Bayartuu Bayarsaihan.

Delegates from 45 countries representing national Olympic committees, as well as representatives from the International Olympic Committee and international sports federations, gathered at the General Assembly. Participants discussed reports on the activities of the OCA, the work of its commissions, proposed amendments to the Charter of the Asian Olympic Committee, and information about the upcoming Asian Games "Sanya 2026," "Aichi–Nagoya 2026," and the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games "Riyadh 2026."

Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani
An important moment of the Assembly was the announcement that Raja Randhir Singh, who previously held the position of President of the Olympic Council of Asia, would be unable to continue his duties due to health issues. He was succeeded by Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, who became the 22nd President of the OCA and will serve until 2028. Sheikh Joaan was the only candidate in the elections and was elected unopposed.
