Zelensky announced the completion of negotiations in the Emirates and a possible meeting next week
Military delegations from all three countries participated in the negotiations. Ukraine was represented by Rustem Umerov, Kirill Budanov, Andrey Gnatov, David Arakhamia, Sergey Kislytsya, and Vadim Skibitsky. The U.S. delegation included Steve Vitkoff, Jared Kushner, Dan Driscoll, Alex Grinkevich, and Josh Grünbaum, while Russia was represented by military intelligence and armed forces officials. The main topic of discussion was the possible conditions for ending hostilities. Zelensky emphasized the importance of American monitoring and control in the process of conflict cessation and ensuring security. The American delegation raised the issue of potential formats for approving conditions for ending the war and the necessary security measures for this. As a result of the meetings, the parties agreed on the need to inform their capitals about the outcomes of the negotiations and to coordinate the next steps with their leadership. The military compiled a list of questions for the upcoming meeting, and Zelensky mentioned the possibility of new negotiations next week. He also expressed gratitude to the United Arab Emirates and their president for their mediating role and willingness to host further meetings.
