Kyrgyzstanis in the "Sakharovo" Center in the Moscow Region are held in harsh conditions
A deputy appealed to the authorities with a request to protect migrants from illegal deportation and issues with documentation
During a session of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Aigul Akhmedova raised the issue of the difficulties faced by citizens of Kyrgyzstan working in Russia. She reported that many of them, upon entering the Ministry of Internal Affairs database through the mobile application "Amina," are mistakenly classified as violators of migration rules.
Unfortunately, such individuals are sent to the temporary detention center "Sakharovo," located in the Moscow region. There, they can stay for up to a month, often in unfavorable conditions, before being released.
It is worth noting that "Sakharovo" is a facility intended for the temporary detention of foreigners who are subject to deportation or are under administrative control.
The deputy also emphasized that the process of document processing and registration can cost migrants up to 70,000 rubles, and many of them remain unemployed for several months while waiting for their turn to process their documents.
In this regard, Aigul Akhmedova urged the government to simplify the procedures for legal employment for Kyrgyz citizens in Russia and to ensure their protection from illegal deportation.
