As reported by Interesting Engineering, the new Parkie system allows cars to be parked without driver involvement. Users simply need to leave their car in a designated area, after which the robot will independently find a parking spot and return the vehicle upon completion.

According to the publication, this service is already operational in multi-level parking garages, where several such robots are used simultaneously.

One of the main challenges the team faced while developing Parkie was ensuring reliable wireless communication, especially in parking environments where a large amount of concrete and metal, as well as moving objects, can negatively impact the stability of conventional Wi-Fi networks.
