- The energy company DTEK reported numerous "localized accidents" in Kyiv caused by damage to critical infrastructure against the backdrop of freezing weather.
- Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, appealed to Western partners to expedite the delivery of missiles for air defense systems.
- The UK government announced the development of a new ballistic missile for Ukraine, capable of carrying a warhead weighing up to 200 kg over a distance of more than 500 km.
- A Russian attack in Odesa resulted in damage to infrastructure, and power supply was cut off in one of the city's districts.
