Ikhtiyar Nishonov won gold at the tournament in Istanbul

The athlete from Kyrgyzstan Ikhtiyar Nishonov became the champion of the international boxing tournament held in Turkey.

The 34th Ahmet Cömert tournament took place in Istanbul from March 30 to April 5.

Nishonov achieved success in the weight category up to 70 kg, winning a gold medal.

During the competition, the Kyrgyzstani fought four bouts, defeating opponents from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Germany, and Australia.

In addition to him, in the category up to 60 kg, Munarbek Seyitbek uulu also won a gold medal, while Omar Livaza (in the weight up to 65 kg) secured a bronze medal.
