Kyrgyz fighter Zhaksylik Myrzabekov has been recognized as the full champion of the ACA fighting league.

He won the interim champion title in the welterweight division on December 6, 2025, at the ACA 197 tournament, where he defeated Russian opponent Uzair Abdurakhov in 33 seconds using a chokehold.

Previously, the reigning champion Abubakar Vagaev from Russia temporarily suspended his performances.

The planned unification bout between Vagaev and Myrzabekov, which was set to take place in the spring of 2026, was canceled due to an injury sustained by the Kyrgyz fighter during training, after which Vagaev signed a contract with the UFC, vacating the title.

At a press conference, ACA president Magomed Bibulatov stated: “Zhaksylik Myrzabekov is now a full champion, not an interim one. Currently, our top contender in this weight class is Albert Tumenov.”
