On the night of December 5 to 6, Kyrgyz fighter Jakshylyq Myrzabekov faced Russian athlete Uzair Abdurakhov in Moscow. The fight began with a precise strike to the opponent's head, after which Myrzabekov took him to the ground and executed a chokehold.
It took the Kyrgyzstani just 33 seconds to secure victory and become the recipient of the ACA Awards 2025 in the "Best Submission of the Year" category.
Currently, Jakshylyq holds the interim champion title in his division and is awaiting a match with the reigning champion Abubakar Vagaev from Russia, who has announced a career break until spring 2026.
