Nursadyk Nurdinov to Compete at PWL 11 Tournament in Tashkent

An athlete from Kyrgyzstan is preparing for an international wrestling tournament that will take place in Uzbekistan.

The PWL 11 tournament will be held on March 27 in the capital of Uzbekistan — Tashkent.

Kyrgyzstani Nursadyk Nurdinov will compete in the weight category up to 65 kg in the freestyle wrestling discipline.

His opponent will be Russian wrestler Arip Abdulaev, who is a medalist of the Yarygin tournament.

Currently, 19-year-old Nursadyk is the 2024 Asian champion among youth (U-17) and a finalist of an international tournament in Egypt in 2025.

In addition to him, other athletes will also compete in Tashkent: Akjol Mahmudov, Abdumalik Karachov, Ömürbek Asan uulu, and Sezim Jumanzarova.

It is worth noting that the match between Aiperi Medet kyzy and Olympic champion Yuka Kagami from Japan was canceled due to the latter's injury.
